The event was aimed at Form II in particular, to promote French as a course choice in their upcoming National 4 and 5 selections.
The initiative raised a total of £184.27 for French charity Bibliothéques Sans Frontiéres, which helps communities in Francophone countries gain access to books and cultural resources.
The café was open to current pupils, parents and the wider local community. As well as enjoying French culinary delights, such as Croque Monsieur and Pain au Chocolat, customers were encouraged to converse in French via a list of frequently used French phrases placed on each table.
Thank you to all staff, pupils and members of the public who attended and helped to raise money for a very worthwhile cause.
