The 1st XI are through to their third consecutive Scottish Cup semi-final, after winning 3-1 away to St Georges in the quarter final. This followed a number of strong performances in recent weeks, including a 3-2 win over Mary Erskine in the Scottish League. The team face George Heriot’s in the semi-final.
The Form 3A team will also face Heriot’s in the semi-final of the National Cup, after winning 5-0 away to Loretto on Tuesday 5 February. This game will take place at home. Lynsey Allan, Director of Hockey said: “I was impressed with the maturity of the performance from the Form 3A. Rosie Morris and Hannah Young, in particular were excellent.”
“It is an exciting time for Dollar Hockey having two teams in the National semi-finals. The girls will be working hard over the coming weeks to ensure they are fully prepared and in the best condition possible to perform.”
The dates for both fixtures are still to be confirmed.
