Triumph for two young inventors!

All of Prep 5 participated in the Scottish Engineering Special Leaders Awards (SESLA) competition.

Pupils interviewed engineers, engaged in a STEM day and embarked on their own journey to design an invention that could change the world.

To add to this exciting venture the young inventors also wrote pitch letters to the University of Strathclyde’s Engineering Department explaining why their invention should be considered the best.

Two children from Prep 5, Harry and Arla, received special commendation for their work.  This is a huge success as over 17,000 entries were submitted.

Harry and Arla were invited to the Barony Hall in Glasgow, where their entries will be displayed to celebrate their success.
