This Christmas, the Prep and Junior School have been working on ‘Be Kind at Advent’, a joint initiative to benefit the local area.
Each year the Prep and Junior Schools do something different at Christmas which will benefit the local area. This year, all pupils were asked to bring in a ‘luxury’ item to make Christmas a little happier for members of the local community who use The Gate Food Bank in Alloa. Items included festive treats such as mince pies, selection boxes and chocolate reindeer as well as many other items – all aimed at helping local people smile this Christmas. The response was tremendous and the classrooms and corridors were overflowing with donations.
Adrienne and her team in Alloa were completely overwhelmed by the donations and want to say a very big thank you to all the pupils and staff involved in the initiative.
