Dollar pupils have explored the Scottish wilderness in Knoydart, the Eastern Cairngorms and the Ben Alder area in the Central Highlands. One group of Form IV pupils even organised their own sailing expedition earlier this month.
Throughout the expeditions, pupils have faced the rain, midgies, blisters and drying winds. On the plus side, the scenery has been stunning and lifelong memories have been made with friends!
The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award continues this week and next, where qualifying (assessment) expeditions will take place around Inchnadamph and Scourie in the north-west Highlands.
Well done to those who have completed the expeditions and good luck to everyone who is still to go.
