Ski Tour 2018: The Winter that Kept on Giving…

The winter that caused the unprecedented closure of the school for three days earlier this year also provided the very best Easter snow coverage in the resorts of Les Trois Vallées in the French Alps.

One hundred and five pupils enjoyed fantastic snow sports during the first week of the Easter break, and once again, Les Menuires proved an excellent base for the school’s largest overseas tour. Minor injuries aside, the vast majority of pupils skied or snowboarded for at least six hours each day. Towards the end of the week, once they had honed their skills, the pupils enjoyed using them in the various fun parks, which this year included long snow tunnels and mini half-pipes. While, two weeks on, some faces still bear sunburned goggle-marks, we are already looking forward to Easter 2020.
