Despite the wet and windy weather conditions, our Season Opener provided a host of excellent hockey and rugby fixtures. In a day dedicated to opening the sports season, our rugby and hockey teams competed against pupils from George Watson’s College, Stewart’s Melville College, Sedbergh School and Enniskillin Royal Grammar School.
Dollar had a mixture of wins and losses across both sports throughout the day. You can see the full results list here.
Mr Caskie, Director of Rugby, has collated his ‘dream team’, consisting of the top fifteen players from across the year groups based on Saturday’s performance. See the team here.
County Hog Roasts provided a delicious hog roast, whilst Fallen Tree Coffee sold hot drinks and tray bakes for our pupils, staff and supporters. Both businesses did a fantastic job whilst having to contend with the high winds!
The giant inflatables, Spider Mountain and Zorb Racers were popular amongst the children attending the event.
