The sun shone beautifully and everyone had a most fantastic day. Pupils had a chance to meet the queen, play medieval tennis on the oldest tennis court in the world, make medicinal herb pouches and learn all about medieval food and fashion. To top it all off, the group impressed the Palace’s residents so much that they were invited to the queen’s orchard for lunch!

‘A day to remember,’ said Ms Harewood (Prep 5 teacher). ‘It was a day when their project on Mary, Queen of Scots truly came to life.’
