Equestrian Success

Elspeth Bryce (Form IV) and Katie Scott (Form VI) have both been selected to represent Scotland at the National U18 Championships in July at Frickley Park. Both girls have regularly been selected to compete at U18 and even adult classes, and they often finish in the top ten.

‘I am very pleased that I have been selected to represent Scotland at the U18 Championships at the end of July, ‘said Elspeth, ‘My Work Of Art, pet name Pi, is my first choice of ride with Lacoste, pet name Charlie as my reserve ride.’

Katie described the horse she will ride in competition, saying, ‘I bought Fleur as a four-year-old and have had her for four years. Her competition name is Rathbone Silver.’

‘We all believe we have a brilliant team of horses/riders/parents and supporters,’ said the organisers of the event, ‘And we know these young riders will all represent Scotland with great pride and success in July.’

Best of luck to these young riders in July.
