The class have been designing their own inventions as part of the Scottish Engineering Leaders Award and on Thursday 18 January they were visited by four inspirational engineers:Mr Tempany (Ineos), Mrs Tempany (Forth Valley College) and Scott and Dean (Scottish Power).
Engineers talk to pupils
The children found out about the wide variety of jobs engineers do, the massive part engineering plays in our everyday lives and what really goes on in those big factories in Grangemouth. They also set a new Scottish Power record for the largest human electrical circuit with a whopping 69 people.
‘It was a brilliant afternoon and the kids learned a lot,’ said Mrs MacDonald (Prep 5 teacher).
