Economics Pupils Prosper in Investment Competition

The team of eight Form V pupils, all studying Higher Economics this session, started with an initial investment of £2,000. They must invest it in stocks and shares in the London Stock Market over a period of nine months. ‘They have wisely invested a large proportion of their stake in solid unit trusts across the globe and avoided the fluctuations in the market since late January 2018,’ commented Mr Moore (Head of Business Studies).
