Perform in Perth, according to its website, is ‘an annual festival of music, speech and dance; about 3,800 performers take part in the two-week festival. There are events for groups of almost any size and description, in addition to an extensive programme for solo performance. Performers have the opportunity to develop their skills through receiving advice and encouragement from a team of experienced professional adjudicators.’
Good luck to all the musicians taking part this week; we look forward to hearing their news.
The Wind Quartet
In a further music update, congratulations go to the school’s Wind Quartet who gained a First-Class Certificate in the Chamber Music class this afternoon. The quartet is coached by our bassoon teacher, Mr Brown.
