The Form 3A squad played The High School of Dundee in the final, at the neutral venue of Glenalmond College. The opposition started strong and dominated the first half. The second half saw a much improved performance from Dollar, which created a lot of goal scoring opportunities. The game ended with score of 0-0, then going to penalties.
Manuala (Form III) was fantastic in goal and Dollar managed to lift the trophy. This was a well-deserved result for the squad, who narrowly lost out on reaching the Scottish Cup after losing 1-0 to George Heriots in the semi-final earlier this season.
It was then time for the 1st XI to face Strathallan School in the final of the Midland Cup. The opposition took an early lead, but after a period of poor defending, Dollar managed to equalise. After some fantastic goals, Dollar won the game with a score of 5-3. This is a great result for the squad, who have already won the Scottish Cup and the league this season.
Sadly, it was the last game for a number of the girls: Captain Eve; Vice Captains Evie and Katy; as well as Natasha, Lucy and Hannah. They have been a credit to the school and have worked extremely hard, both on and off the pitch.
