Our gymnasts were all competing for a place in the upcoming National Finals.
Lucy (J2), performed with real skill and poise and gained an individual bronze in the floor and vault Primary Level 4 National Qualifiers competition. In the team competition, Lucy along with Laura (J2) and Genevieve (Prep 5) all performed to a high standard and came 5th place, which means they are one of the eight teams that will compete in the National Finals.
This competition will take place on 19 February next year.
The Secondary Level 4 team of Lucy (Form VI), Sarah (Form III) and Jess (Form III) also competed very well and scored highly on both the floor and the vault. The team placed 17th overall.
On 4 December, Dollar Academy will be hosting the Regional Floor and Vault finals for Primary and Secondary 1, 2 and 3.
