On 18 November, Dollar Academy competed in the annual British Schools Dry Slope Championships at Hillend.
This is a very competitive and well attended competition that involves some of the top schools in the country.
Dollar Academy qualified earlier this year and the pupils were competing against top schools from Scotland, England and Wales in the difficult steep slope at Hillend.
The Girls team finished an excellent 7th out of 25 teams.
Lauren Rae came 23rd out of 100 races for the individual teams.
The Boys team did very well against some of the fastest racers in the country to finish 11th out of 25 teams.
Archie MacKenhnie finished 28th out of 100 racers.
Overall, a great day of racing!
