Pupils were free to photograph anything beginning with the letter ‘D’ and entries were judged on their composition, creativity and editing skills. Titled ‘Beginning with D’, this year’s competition attracted over 130 entries, and the judging panel were incredibly impressed by the creativity and high standard of all the photographs.
The selection of the winning and highly commended photographs will be published in The Galley and exhibited in the Art and Design Department.
The winners are:
First Place: Henry Daniels (Form I), Dark Side of Dollar
Second Place: Emily Newton and Gemma Smith (both Form II), Drumming and Divide
Third Place: Angus Scott (Form I), Gucci Doughnut Cake
Highly Commended: Tiernan Macrae, Jessica Marshall, Morag Bruce (all Form II), Laura Macdonald, Morag Bruce, Archie Jaffrey-Smith and Dugald MacKechnie (all Form I)
