Please find below new pupil information specific to your child’s year group.
Our uniform is just one of the things that unites our pupils as a community. We have two official stockists who supply regulation school uniform and sportswear items. Both have local and online stores where you should find everything you need.
Our catering staff cook award-winning, healthy, locally-sourced food on site every day. For day pupils, lunch consists of three courses and costs £3.80. There’s also the ‘McNabb and Grab’, our deli bar which is always stocked with fruit, fresh sandwiches and wraps. Pupils are welcome to bring packed lunches to eat in our dining hall. Pupils in the senior school are also allowed to buy lunch in the village.
Our boarders each get breakfast, lunch and dinner in the dining hall from Monday – Friday. In addition a snack after school and a light supper around 8pm are provided in each boarding house. On Saturdays and Sundays, breakfast and an evening meal are provided in the houses with brunch served in the dining hall.
Our nurses are on hand during term time to attend to the health needs of any pupil or staff member. Based in our dedicated and well-resourced Nursing Centre, Miss Finnie and Ms Scott provide health screening, medical examinations and vaccination programmes in line with National School Health Service guidelines. They also help teach health related topics in the School’s PSE programme.
